To honour this trust, we have carefully selected a team of child and adolescent-focused psychologists who are fully registered, experienced and passionate about what they do.
All clinical staff members are qualified in their specialised area of allied health and are registered with AHPRA or regulator authorities according to their professional practice. All our psychologist, are fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and the Australian Psychological Society. They all engage in regular supervision and professional development to ensure we are up to date with best practice and resources available. Mrs Edele Bignell is a registered psychologist with expertise in:

Edele specialises in helping families and children on the Autism Spectrum to understand their diagnosis and to reach their full potential.

Beth is a Registered Psychologist with over 12 years of clinical experience, working in both private practice as part of a multi-disciplinary team and within the school environment as a School Psychologist. Beth is passionate about improving and nurturing the mental health of our young people and ensuring this is a priority in their lives going forward. She currently shares her time between Central Coast Family Psychology and working in schools on the Central Coast, which affords her a thorough understanding of the myriad of challenges children and adolescents face in their world today.
Beth has extensive experience working with adults, adolescents, and children with a broad range of issues, such as:
Anxiety and depression
Trauma and abuse
Parental separation, grief/loss and life transition issues
Social difficulties and bullying
Beth has also undertaken specialist training in the assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), intellectual, and developmental disorders. She is competent in the use of “Gold Standard” assessment tools in this area and is dedicated to supporting families with evidence-based intervention to assist their child to reach their potential. She has a particular interest in children with ASD, and also girls and women with anxiety.
Beth works within the broad frameworks of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Her focus is on providing a caring approach whilst empowering children and their families to develop the psychological skills they need to build a fulfilling and meaningful life. Having 3 young children of her own, Beth has a good understanding of the stresses and pressure that come with family life. With this in mind, she endeavours to provide children and their parents with support and practical strategies that can be applied in real life.
Dr Kymbra Clayton
Clinical Psychologist MAPS, MACPA
BFA, BSC Psych (Hons), PGDip App Psych, MPsych (Clinical), PhD
Kymbra is a Clinical Psychologist who has been working in the field for 15 years.
Special interest areas include trauma, depression and anxiety, autism, learning issues, gender and sexuality, grief and loss, personality disorders. She works with all age groups (children, teens and adults).
Kymbra obtained her PhD in Psychology from Macquarie University focusing on the effects of childhood trauma and dissociative disorders. Kymbra obtained her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Charles Sturt University.
Kymbra is a registered provider for Victims Service at an alternative practice and also has formal training in Family Therapy, Self Psychology, EMDR and Clinical Hypnosis.
Kymbra is a Registered Supervisor for Interns and Masters Students and Graduates.
B Psychology (Hons)
Julianne is a registered psychologist who completed her psychology degree with honours at the University of Newcastle. Julianne has worked in Non-Government and in private practice across a diverse client-base. She has engaged in training for a variety of therapeutic techniques including: Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT); Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT); Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Mindfulness Strategies; Schema Therapy; Good Lives Model & Offender Rehabilitation; Stepping Stones Program (emotional regulation for intellectual disabilities); as well as parenting styles and techniques, Julianne's training and work experience with a diverse client base allows a flexible therapeutic approach across a wide range of clients and support needs.
Julianne's style is down to earth and optimistic. She is enthusiastic about building self awareness, motivation and empowering individuals and carers to gain the skills they require to problem solve through difficult situations and feel more confident in their daily life. Julianne is a mother of three adult children and also understands the stressors of life in general and raising a family. She aims to keep her therapeutic strategies simple and focused on goals to encourage a feeling of achievement and positivity in her clients.
